Just curious because most guys that sell their picks are utter garbage. You see regular people in forums here who do a better job at picking games. More than just a couple. Maybe these guys don't care because they don't really bet or know they will rake in the money so it is not important to win. Just a thought. I would trust the information and picks I get here over 99.9% of cappers you would pay for
There is unfortunately quite a bit of bad baggage with sports handicappers. The number of scams that they have run and continue to run makes it worse.
There is probably a definite place in the market for good honest handicappers that can produce more winners than losers. It is worth money for good picks.
From the handicappers standpoint it probably doesnt matter what you do ..... at the end of the day the average client figures out a way to lose money. You give 3 picks in the NFL and go 3-0. No pick on Sunday or Monday night game. Client feels good about winning. Ups his bet and loses both games and at the end of the week is down money. From a business standpoint there is pressure to release plays on big TV games because the clients want that even though they dont really like that game. Lastly in their defense the internet has tons of free information. Their potential client base gets reduced when sites like this post their plays for free.....basically stealing someone else's work.
One problem from a customers standpoint is you have no idea how he is making his selections. Something changes in their life and they dont spend as much time researching their picks and you have no idea.
If there was a service that could consistently pick more winners than losers it would be silly not to buy their service if you could bet and win more than you paid for the service. The hard part is finding that service. I can only recall a few that seemed to be able to win consistently and even the best ones would struggle at some point.
The best handicapper I ever saw in any sport was Underdog in football. I used to say he has the last 3 letters wrong because he was just under god in picking games. There is still a service called this but the rumor is the original Underdog died probably 20 years ago. No good way to verify it either.
